ANZAC Day Recount

On ANZAC Day which was on 25th of April, my family and I played some games outside like hand ball and capture the ball/flag. That was pretty much it, but we had so much fun that we played all day. I was injured after playing a few games but I took care of it and kept on playing.

For handball we play mostly everyday but Saturday was all about capturing the flag. We played with our own rules that we had to follow. Having our own rules kind of makes it a little fun. 

We separated the back yard into two parts and made one square in each side for the other team to run in and get our ball and it was the first one to return the ball to their territory wins a point but to get a point you would have to catch the ball in the other teams territory and run in you part of the backyard without getting tagged from the other team.

My long weekend

This past week we had church to practice for our big mass.In Tonga we call mass Misa. So the mass we were going to was only for Tongan people from other churches.It was a big mass where one of the cardinals was going to lead the mass. If you don't know what a cardinal is , it is a priest who turn other priest into popes. It was going to take time to get there.

We got dressed up in white and went in the church. It wasn’t that many people in the church, that time but as time passed more and more people went in. Then when it was starting, I was one of the people who was walking down the path. After the church we went to a hall and ate some food. While we were eating we presented a song to the priest.

Once it was finish I got 20 dollars for singing a song.Then my dad drove me to Maccas and got me 3 medium combos.We ate all of the food on our way back home.When we got there my siblings were very angry because we didn’t save them any food.

My weekend

Last Saturday we had a fun week.At first it was my brothers birthday Soane and for the first time my mum was going to let me go to my big brothers game Sifa, Teaki, and Lani. So when I woke up I heard people saying happy birthday to someone down stairs.I took a little peak to see who was saying happy birthday to. 

When I took a little peak I, remembered that it was Soane's birthday. I quickly ran upstairs to go back to sleep because I found out who was saying happy birthday.

While I was sleeping my mum told me to wake up and change for the game.She told me I had to go and shower and when I come out the cloths will be down stairs. After my warm shower I took a little of my time to just dry up. I got straight into my cloths and waited until my mum was going to pick me up.

Finally my mum picked me up.I went to the game and it was fun.It was sad to see  my brothers loose but it was still fun.
