My own christmas tree

For starters I would like my tree to be white. I would also like my tree to be glowing all day and night. My tree would have cookies hanging from the tree. This tree could have hands to make cookies and give milk to the visitors. My christmas tree would have Siri installed in it so it can play music whenever we tell it too.

All this money you guys are giving us is perfect. You guys are so cool. Thank you for the smart Tv’s and teaching us about how to be smart with money. Let's not forget you guys paid for the year 7 and 8 camp.

Feed the whanau programe

I came to school when there was no one there, I waited until one of my classmates came. We started to talk and then Miss Patea came and took us to the A section with our teacher. We then started to frost and decorate cupcake with other members from other schools.

We kept frosting and decorating until it was finished when finally it was done. As we were about to go back to school we got some christmas things and some cupcakes to go. It was so fun that I got to go with my teacher and my classmate Bailey.

Letter To Santa

Dear Santa Claus

It is almost christmas and I would like to say I have been good at school. I would like a phone when I am older and painting products with a canvas at this age.

On Christmas I like when we get cookies and milk to eat and drink. Thank you santa for all the present these past years. I am looking forward for this year.

The longest journey

At first the snowman was happy with his beautiful wife. When it was the morning the girl opened the curtains to only see the girl with nobody and she looked sad. The snowman had left to the road and he looked very surprised.

He then crossed to the river in a snow blizzard. He felt angry because he could not cross the river so he jumped on the rock and crossed over to the other side of the river. The snowman walked all the way to a mountain and climbed it. The snowman did not have any emotions climbing the mountain. When he got on the top of the mountain he saw a city or town.

His final destination was a shop. He then went back home and gave the woman a present and they lived very happy the snowman gave the lady knew clothes. I learnt that when someone leaves you it doesn't mean they don’t love you.

Athletics

Today we had athletics 2019.

Year 4s started at shot put with Miss Tofa so we got ready and started throwing the shot puts. Just after everybody shot especially me I came first place. Then we went to discuss with Mr Nath but sadly I did not place anything. Next we went to 100 m race with our teacher Miss Smith.

On 100 m race I came third place. On the last one which was high jump I came nothing again, but I still had fun.

It was very fun doing all these activities, that is why I am going to practice everyday so I can get better at athletics. I am looking forward for next year. 

Save eletricity

To save electricity I walk to school instead of coming in a car. I also hang my clothes outside to save my moms money and petrol. I turn off my lights when I don’t use them. Sometimes I am hot so I take a nice and cold shower but if you always use hot water it waste all your electricity.

My family watch a lot of tv, luckily we have night study so we can turn off the tv for about 2 hours. That will get us learning. At school we have solar panels so we get free power but we are not technically using electricity we are actually are using the sun’s energy. That is it for my life of saving electricity.

Halloween writing

Something in the closet was making a strange noise, so I opened the door and saw that there was no one there and nothing there so I went back to bed and still that strange noise kept on going. Once again I opened the door when WHOOSH! A gust of wind pushed me down to the floor. When I got up a big but cute monster was hiding in the corner of the closet, I touched it and it was as fluffy as a cat. I just wanted to have it.

I tried to be as quiet as a mouse. I creeped that cute monster back in the closet so it can’t wake up my family. Once I got in bed I just could not get over that cute face so I decided to open the closet and take him out.

When I woke up, he was gone and then I heard a sound it was like a scream sound I ran to the kitchen to see my brothers and sisters screaming and jumping on the chairs and tables. That's when I saw the monster that was in my closet last night. My mum said I had to take it out so I did it was really sad to see him go I just met him last night. Even though my family hated the monster I managed to sneak him in my room so I can sleep with him everyday.

Static vs Current electricity

Electricty

Usually in the morning the first thing I do is have a shower and brush my teeth. Then I get ready, turn on the heater and watch tv. Next I wait in the car to drive me to school for my mum. After I go class use my charger to charge my chromebook to use for the rest of the day. In class the lights are on so we use lights to. We always use chromebooks and we always need wifi or internet.

Everytime we go to the toilet we are still using electricity. We also use the dryers to dry our hands. During learning time we sometimes use calculator to see if we get the question right.

I don’t use ipads that much but I still use them so it counts. I forgot to mention that I use the fridge to keep my food nice and fresh. I also use the microwave to heat up my food.

These are all the stuff I use that have electricity.

We went over the classroom and school expectations at the start of Term 4.

Diana

Diana moved to Auckland on 2017. Diana moved because one of her uncles lived in New Zealand, so he offered to adopt her. On Diana’s first day of school she felt scared. In samoa if you were caught talking or caught distracted you would get in big trouble. Everyday when Diana’s cousin comes home she would borrow her laptop and go online to chat to her family and friends. Diana has plans to go to Samoa and see all her family and friends.

Georges Marvellous medicine

Room 9 read the book George's Marvellous Medicine. The book is about a boy named george who got told to give his grandma's medicine but instead george made his own medicine just for grandma. George did not like grandma in fact he wanted to get rid of her so he made the medicine. He put lots of things in it such as shaving cream, brown paint and flea remover but it got out of hand. When grandma had drank the medicine she had started growing and less then a minute she was as tall as the house. Mr.Kranky was shocked and happy at the same time. Mr.Kranky wanted to make big animals so george was forced to make the medicine again but it was the wrong medicine. They kept making it over and over until one of the medicines made someone shrink. George knew that medicine could make grandma her same size again. Grandma was still tall so they gave it to grandma but grandma did not care so in one big gulp all the medicine one was gone from the bottle. In less than a minute grandma disappeared. That is the end of the story.

Ma'afu and his sons

There was a chief named Ma’afu.He had two sons named Ma’afutoko and Ma’aufulele. Ma’afu’s sons had very bad behaviour. They had always played with their spears and get someone hurt. One day the people got sick of all of their bad behaviour. 

So the people sent them down to a lake called Atavahea where the big duck lived.  But the duck was no match for the brothers. Then they came back with smiles on their faces which the people thought that they were not sorry to their father and the people.

So they sent them to an ocean called Muihetafa where the big triggerfish lived but again the fish was no match for the brothers. They came back with an even bigger smile on their faces. The people still thought that they weren’t sorry so they sent them to live under the stars.

The father sadly sent them to live under the stars.
