All about Thunder and lightning

We have been learning about thunderstorms in class. Here are some things I have learnt.

Thunderstorms

Thunderstorms can cause heavy winds, flood and hail. The lighting heat could also cause stuff to catch on fire such as trees. Hail usually happens when it is raining hard and when it is cold. When hard rains and cold come together it makes hail. Here are some safety tips just in case you don’t know what to do. Always turn off your power points or else your technology could explode.

Find shelter, and if you live on a form keep your pets inside such as dogs and cats.
