The catch
A boy was fishing in a small pond. When his fishing rod tingled. The boy pulled with all his might and out came a little tiny fish. The boy put the fish in the basket when suddenly he heard a sound from the bush. The boy opened the bush and there was a fox trapped on a rope. The boy pulled out his knife and set the fox free.
The fox looked angry but for some reason it did nothing to the boy. It just jumped on him and went through the bushes and sat next to the boys basket. The fox at the boy then jumped in the basket and stole the boys only fish. The fox then ran away with the fish.
The boy looked angry so he chased the fox into the forest. The fox ran into a tunnel full of spiky sharp thrones. The boy looked scared to go into the tunnel. He manned up and crawled into the tunnel. The boy and the fox got and jumped in a log but the fox away into the deep side of the forest and climbed a mountain and came to a dead end.
The fox looked very calm but for some reason the fox chucked the fish in the fog, the sun cleared out the fog and the boy realized that the fox had led him to a bigger pond with lots more fish.
The fox gave the boy a stick and the boy made a fishing rod out of it. The boy then went fishing. After that the boy caught a big fish and a medium fish. The boy looked at the fox and saw that the fox was hungry so he gave the fox the medium fish. The boy walked away and the fox disappeared.

Math's problem
There are 172 students at Glenbrae School. On Wednesday, 67 students were out of school. How many students were left at school?
This is how I solved The problem:
So there are 172 and 67
172 - 67
So you take away the 2 and the 7 from the hundred and the ten which makes 170 and 60
170 - 60= 110
You then do a take away in between which makes 110
Then you bring back the 7 and 2, you also put a takeaway in between the 7
7-2=5
Which makes 5
Then you do 110 take away 5
110-5=105
This means the answer is 105

Best day ever
The best day ever I had was at a school named sacred heart college. I went with my family such as my grandma and grandpa. We only went because my mum and dad are the bosses of the Tongan group and the Tongan was selling food at a tent. My family and I were running around like wild animals to get through the bungee castle shaped like an obstacle course. We got money from our grandma but I got ten and the rest got five.
Once I wasted my money I begged for ore but I didn’t get it so was sad for nearly the whole day but I just wiped my tears away and played a little. I got a drink and ate some food. I went to check on my sisters and they brought five bags full of clothes. We sorted it out and put it away. I had so much fun I can’t wait for this year.

Water safety
Do you know how to be water safe ? Well you could start off by asking your parents how far you can go in the pool.
Make sure to wear a life jacket when you are on a boat or you are on the deep side. When you are in the pools make sure you are swimming with someone or you are with an adult. When you are on the side of the pools make sure not run but walk or else you will slip and hurt yourself.
Don’t forget when there's a storm get out of the water asap. If you don’t get out of the water you will be sailing in the rough waves. If you are at the deep sides, you have to stay in between the flags.
These are not tips but this is a trick to do in the water. So if you fall in the water on your face flip over so you can breathe properly.

We then moved on to the games. These were the names of the games we did Water slide, water bomb, Spongebob, Swimming pool, Holey Moley and lava flow.
Nikau is my house colour and the house leaders were splitting up into six groups. Rm 9 always starts on the courts or the field. This was a competition so it was every house for themselves.
So we got the bucket full until we were tired. Nikau got Three buckets full and almost four. At the end of everything Mrs tofa announced the winners of this year's water fun day Nikau jumped with excitement as soon as they heard Mrs tofa saying Nikaus Name.
After all that it was freezing, it was as cold as the north pole. We then got changed and we got some food and got on with the day. The day was awesome and refreshing at the same time. I am looking forward to next year.
